đź‘‹ Come join us at the Pavilion in Castle Meadow.

Hi, I'm Samantha. I teach a blend of vinyasa yoga, functional movement and pilates designed to help you build strength, flexibility, and mobility, so you can move more freely and feel better in your everyday life, not just on the mat.

Please bring your own mat and any props you like to use. While props will be provided, you’re very welcome to bring your own blocks, blankets, or straps if you prefer. Wear comfy clothes that let you move easily. If you have any questions or would like prop recommendations, email me at rise@samanthagarstin.com

Please note - This space is held for women only.

About Me

Yoga has changed everything for me.

I just love to move my body. Some days, my practice is dynamic and flowing. Other days it’s more structured and functional, focusing on strength, mobility and stability. And sometimes it’s gentle, supported movement using props to meet my body where it is. I’m an eternal student, always exploring new ways to move, feel, and expand my understanding of the body.

My yoga journey began over 15 years ago. After years of pushing myself to the limits both mentally and physically, my early practice created such a profound shift that I was completely hooked. Yoga became more than movement, it became a way of connecting to my body with awareness, curiosity, and conscious intention. That’s exactly what I love to bring into my teaching.

I am Vinyasa-trained, have completed my YTT 200 with The Sacred Fig, and over the years, I’ve studied a variety of styles within the yoga system. Now I blend traditional yoga foundations with my love of functional movement, strength work, and my own twist of intuitive, exploratory movement. The result is a varied, dynamic practice that helps my students move with more freedom, ease, and flow, both on and off the mat.

I live the practice of being connected to my body every day. My own body has been one of my greatest teachers, guiding me to stay mindful, present, and aware of who I am in the world. I walk my talk and teach from lived experience. Everything I share comes from what I practice myself, from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep.

Movement has been my compass, leading me on a journey of self‑exploration that continues to unfold. The combination of yoga, functional movement, and embodied awareness has changed my life in ways I never expected, and I’m deeply grateful for it.
